Russian illustrators featured in Bologna Book Fair Illustrators’ Exhibition 2020

As Claire Storey wrote over on our sister website World Kid Lit blog, Bologna Children’s Book Fair went online this year with many events and beloved features such as the Illustrators’ Wall available to view on the website.

The Book Fair curates a selection of illustrators to highlight with an Illustrators Exhibition. Two Russian illustrators made the cut and they were Elena Repetur and Katerina Voronina.

The 2020 judges chose the works of 76 illustrators from two thousand and five hundred participants (2574) from all over the world (66 countries and regions represented). After Bologna Book Fair, which took place from 4 to 7 May 2020, the Illustrators Exhibition will then continue on a world tour that in the next two years will take it to several countries: the first venues are scheduled in Japan, Korea and China.

The exhibition catalogue, the Illustrators Annual will be distributed worldwide in the Italian, English, Japanese, American, Chinese and Korean versions.

Have a a look at the Exhibition photo gallery and the links below for a glimpse of the fabulous work of these two illustrators. Below are links to how you can get in touch with them if you would like to commission work.
